POSITION: GARMENT DESIGNER

POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Garment Designer to develop innovative and commercially viable apparel designs aligned with brand identity and market trends. The ideal candidate will combine strong creative vision with technical knowledge of garment construction and production processes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Research fashion trends, fabrics, colors, and consumer preferences.
• Develop seasonal design concepts, mood boards, and storyboards.
• Create sketches, CAD drawings, and detailed technical packs.
• Select appropriate fabrics, trims, prints, and embellishments.
• Work closely with product development and production teams to ensure design feasibility.
• Attend fittings and provide feedback for garment improvements.
• Ensure designs meet cost targets and quality standards.
• Maintain design documentation and update revisions when necessary.
• Coordinate with suppliers and factories during sampling and production stages.
• Support Senior Designer in collection planning and execution.

• Alteration Quality: Precision, finishing, and consistency in tailoring work.
• Turnaround Time: Timeliness in completing alterations within agreed deadlines.
• Customer Satisfaction: Feedback on fit, comfort, and overall tailoring experience.
• Operational Accuracy: Proper documentation and tracking of alteration requests.
• Workspace Organization: Cleanliness, efficiency, and maintenance of tailoring tools and space.
• Team Collaboration: Effective communication and coordination with the sales and management team.
• Attendance & Professionalism: Punctuality, grooming, and adherence to company standards.
